Grow Group Questions
Ice breaker: What is the best gift you have ever received on Christmas? What is one thing you have bought or been given that you have never used?
Andy’s Sermon
Pick one thing you really remembered or liked about this week’s sermon? Was there anything you didn’t understand or agree with?
Read and Study 2 Corinthians Chapter 9
Verse 15 says “Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift”
Share one practical way we can show the “gift” of Christ this Christmas season.
Closing Prayer
Take prayer requests as usual, but the focus of this week’s prayer is thankfulness. Everyone (that feels comfortable) is encouraged to thank the lord for something they feel blessed with.
Hello world!
Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!
A little bit of everything!
Welcome to the new blog for Cross Point Salina. We are part of one church in five cities at six locations in central and northern Kansas. Please visit here as often as you can to keep up with everything that is going on at your church. We hope that this is your go to spot for information, announcements, inspiration, and practical wisdom. It will be a little bit of everything!
This is not a church website… let me repeat…this not a church website that is created and left to die somewhere in cyberspace. This is a connection with a church who wants to see you grow and become the person God wants you to be.
Variety is the spice of life, that’s why we have several different contributors to this blog. We don’t want to become stale or too one-sided. Many of the things that I post about may have no relevance to you, but Ryan Booth, Cheryl Cooke, or Kristen Franklin might have something that finds you right where you’re at.
You can subscribe to this blog on the right hand side bar. Just click the button and follow the instructions and an email will be sent to you every time a new post is added. You can also bookmark us and check in any time you jump on the world wide web.
Anyways, just wanted to say welcome and happy reading.
EF
